Getting there... Utah Trip 2009

Getting to Utah from New Hampshire is quite the travel day, especially when you live two and a half hours from the airport. So this is how our day went.... Wake up at 03:00am and get everyone up and out the door by 03:45am. Drive to Manchester Airport and park the car in long-term parking by 06:15am. Unload the car and get everyone on the shuttle to the terminal. Unload the luggage from the shuttle and check in with the airline by 06:45. Get through the security check point and get to the gate by 07:15am. Breathing time until 08:00am or boarding time, which also means feed the kids the most expensive Cinnabon I've ever bought. Fly to Cleveland, OH. Layover, pizza for lunch. Fly to Houston, TX. Even longer layover, but great BBQ for dinner. Fly to Salt Lake City, UT. It's now 21:45. Pick up luggage. Pick up rental car. Drive to hotel in Bountiful. Get everyone ready for bed. That was our first day of vacation- just travelling.
