Sigh.... it sure is the truth that when it rains it sure does pour! My friend and her family are moving to Utah today. They started out on the drive when of course their car breaks down before getting out of the state of NH. This move is such a great thing for them. Their two kids will be attending USU this fall, and they have one left at home. There's nothing really holding them in NH, so it was a quick decision to get going to Logan. Anyway, they have 2 cars that they were planning on driving today, but one of them broke down this past week and I don't think it's fixable. They also have a mini-van that was just inspected and fixed that they were driving today. I guess it wasn't fixed completely because that one broke down on the way out. So here's hoping that the van gets fixed so they can get out there.
On another not-so-happy side note, I just found out that the high school charges an outrageous fee for kids to play sports. Jason is a cross country runner and will be subjected to this fee. It's $45 for the student fee, and $125 dollars for the sports fee, a grand total of $170. I can understand this cost if he was playing football because the equipment is so expensive, but to run cross country? It's just insane! Money, or lack there of, totally STINKS! A lottery win would be helpful right now.
