Pumpkin Hurl 2011!

We love fall festivals and being in Washington just makes for new ones to visit. Today we were at the 4th Annual Snohomish Pumpkin Hurl and Medevil Festival. We watched pumpkins get hurled hundreds of feet into the air and come crashing down. The trebuchets were so cool. And of course there was some yummy food and people in their cool costumes. It was a great way to spend the day with the family!

Here's the gal trying to check out Jason's text from one of his girlfriends. The girl was so funny. She read it and then said, "Mom, you know what she calls him? 'Baby!' Oh my goodness!"

This bad boy was called the "Big Daddy". Sausage with pulled pork, bacon, cheese, and bbq sauce! SO YUMMY!
